QUESTION GUIDELINES

  1. Questions can be on any topic and you may suggest topic areas
  2. Questions are submitted and are subject to approval
  3. Questions are posted anonymously so go ahead ask freely
  4. Questions cannot have what would be considered profanity.  
  5. Only open-ended questions will be approved.   Check out questions on the website for examples.
  6. When you phrase your questions, look at the question and if it is possible to answer the question with Yes or No, then rephrase your question so that it is not possible to answer the question with Yes or No.   Ask for help if you need it.
  7. When you phrase your questions, phrase them so that it cannot be answered with a "right" answer.  For example, "Are you male or female?" 
  8. Do not ask multiple choice questions.  For example, "Would you like to go to the movies, the restaurant or to a concert?"
  9. Don't ask leading questions, such as used in a courtroom where the questions are meant to give a predetermined answer
  10. Don't ask rhetorical questions or questions with an implied answer
  11. Do ask questions that have never been asked before
  12. Do ask questions differently with different phrasing
  13. Do ask different questions about what is right in front of you
  14. Do ask questions that lead to other questions without end.
  15. Do ask questions in a different ways.
  16. Do ask the same question in a new way.

SUGGESTIONS

  1. Be an explorer longing to see beyond what you know or believe you know
  2. Great interviewers ask great questions they can provide great examples of phrasing
  3. Give yourself permission to be creative with your ideas, consciousness and imagination.
  4. Give yourself permission to be enthusiastic.
  5. Give yourself permission to look on everyday things with awe and wonder
  6. Give yourself permission to have some fun, release your consciousness
  7. Give yourself permission to experience things in new ways
  8. Let the universe support you in it's own way
  9. Trust in yourself
  10. Find and be with other explorers
  11. Let go of needing or expecting answers
  12. Listen, listen, listen
  13. Keep on questioning
